Schedule a repair by email or phone call:
Our repair calendar has us booking tune ups and larger repairs out about three weeks now. If it gets much further out, we’ll be pausing the calendar until it gets back down under two weeks.
During the day we can accept a limited number of small repairs for minor issues such as flat tires and minor adjustment. We simply don’t have adequate staffing for most quick repairs while you wait.
Which brings us to…
Closed November 21st-26th for Staff Training
To keep up with increased demand, and to get ready for a busy 2022, we’re training our newest staff members in basic mechanical skills. During this time, we will not be open for sales or service, nor will we be answering phone calls or text messages. We’re dedicating this time to our staff’s development to decrease wait times for you next year.
October 2021 Bike Stock:
Reports from all of our distributors indicate shortages, delays, and high demand complicating an already stressed supply chain. We have orders that were placed in mid-2020 that will be partially filled but cannot guarantee what or when they will arrive. We have received a decent number of Fuji Absolute 1.9 and 1.7 models this week (post date: October 23rd)
One 48cm Breezer Downtown EX step-over in bronze, and one 50cm step-through in graphite arrived in this most recent order. These upright town bikes are well suited for utility or casual riding and come equipped with rack and fenders.
Just in time for DC’s best riding weather, Fuji has sent us an almost full size run (17″, 19″, 21″, and 23″) of Absolute 1.9 bikes. We also received the Fuji Absolute 1.7 in 19″ and 21″. We’re building these as quickly as possible, so call in to see if we have your size and model on the floor.
If you’re looking for an electric Yuba Supermarché,we have one remaining in stock that is nicely equipped for passenger carrying duties. It is the only bike in the store which we will negotiate on price.
BICYCLE PARTS SHORTAGES
If you have been hearing about supply chain issues, know that the bike industry has been hit especially hard. Common parts and accessories are either not available, or slow to arrive. We have no control over what is available to us and have done what we can to stockpile as many common parts to keep us in service for the upcoming months. Some industry sources indicate this may not completely resolve until 2025. So, if we have your bike in for repair and it can’t be completed, please know that this is happening at every shop in our country and beyond our borders.
